We have all been a slave to sin, but Christ has set us free. Hallelujah!
'Twas a forsaken cave, where a wretched man lived his days,
Shackled and chained from his wretched ways.
Rotting inside, he became confined.
To the outside world, he became blind.
But a young prince knew, a wretch had dug a grave.
The young prince hurried, away from his home, to save the wretched slave.
On behalf of the wretch, the young prince arrives,
Standing before the prisoner's eyes,
The prisoner wept, wallowing in shame,
Sorrowful of the wretch he became,
The young Prince dried the tears from his eyes and lifted the wretch's face,
The wretched man knew the Prince bestowed amazing grace.
