Life Erupts

Spring is the hopeful time of year, when Life comes back from the dead.

spirea the white
overflowing bush of joy
gift of flowing blooms

pansies seemed to freeze
back with strength each happy face
heat must take us now

golden sun just beams
life returns from surest death
verdant season's hope

green upon each limb
xylem, phloem brush the paint
food out of thin air

yellow pollen covers world
germinating newest life
