St. Patrick’s Day

Today is a day
leprechauns frolic and play
in green, grassy meadows
under their bright, colorful rainbows.

For clovers, they’ll hunt,
while others pull stunts,
like pinching a passerby
and making them cry-
making a scene,
just because he’s not in green.

With festivals and parades and feasts galore,
this day is full of cheer- and more.
We celebrate this day with music and Shamrocks-
lots of Irish traditions you can see around the block!

So don your green attire,
and maybe join a choir-
and we’ll all have a kick,
celebrating this day of St. Patrick.
