King David

This poem is in reference to the story of David and Bathsheba in the bible

A man after God's own heart

He just knew that God had his back not allowing him to fall apart

Oh but one day he met this beautiful lady

And he did not pick up that this situation was shady

David grew complacent and the enemy set him up

Temptation was right in his face HE chose to drink that cup

That day the rest of his life was definitely changed

He knew from that point on that things would NEVER be the same

David was a king and a man after God's on heart

He had to face God now but where does he start?

He started with humility and asked for God's grace

David remained king and continued on with his race
