At sixteen months old I loved to smell flowers, but was such a busy girly that I couldn't be bothered with perfecting my english. I strongly believed in simplifying the language. Granted, I wasn't up to Pitman's level, but I did think up some good contractions: "Smoul" was my shorthand for "smell the flower".
