I watched my mother burn to death.
Somethings in life just stay with you no matter how many years have passed since they happened. The thing I will always remember is the look on my mother's face as she burned to death. Her face so helpless looking out that little window as she begged for my help, but of course I could do nothing. I stood there unable to look away as she beat on the door trying to free herself. Thank god our oven door is locking.
