Something I do for at least 20 minutes every day.
Breath in. Deeply.
Follow the breath into your lungs.
Feel your stomach rise as you inhale.
Picture yourself breathing in light,
Reflect for a moment.
Feel your lungs empty.
Your stomach falls.
Follow the breath out.
Suffering leaving your body,
When you exhale.
Clear your mind.
Thoughts will come.
Acknowledge them then let them go.
Try to stay empty.
It gets easier.
Now come back to where you are.
Smile before you open your eyes.
Take one last breath.
Open your eyes.
It’s that easy.
