|My head was pounding; I felt nauseous and could barely move, I was cuffed to the bed somehow.
"Hey there, sleepy head; you're finally awake."
"I feel awful," I managed to say.
He grimaced and said, "Ooh, those roofie side effects are a bitch, huh?"
"You're a smart girl; figure it out. Then again, you hooked up with a total stranger. Stupid, stupid girl. Your saving grace is that I like you." He touched me lightly on the chin, "Now, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Do what I say, you'll get to live. Do something to upset me and well, things get unpleasant. You feel me?"
"Good. Because I don't like being upset. Now, I'm going to uncuff you. Don't try anything stupid. Feel free to have a shower, you're smelling rather ripe."
It was so hard to get up and get to the bathroom. I managed to use the toilet and have a shower. There was even a toothbrush there. When I came out, there was a change of clothes on the bed: jeans, a Panic at the Disco graphic t-shirt, underwear and flip flops.
"Here's some Frosted Flakes and milk from the breakfast bar. Hurry up, we check out in twenty minutes."
I wondered what happened to my phone and purse. Surely, he must have it. I had both with me last night, that much I remember. Soon, we were on the road. Him driving, me in the backseat, mostly sleeping, dealing with the side effects. I knew then I wasn't going home. I never should have sneaked out of the house and hooked up with a mysterious stranger at a party.
