Traffic Jam

This acrostic tries not to make fun of those on the road in the PM.

Traffic Jam

Tired, hungry and waiting for
Room to appear ahead of me.
All the 5:00 afternoon drivers want the same thing,
For construction to be finished,
For accidents to be cleared.
In each lane on the freeway,
Cars get ready to overheat.

Just ahead is the exit that I want.
As I take the feeder road and turn,
My car stops. I have run out of gas.
