She spoke of manifesting dreams,
a gorgeous home her special goal.
In my notebook she drew their themes,
and related her deepest soul.

The silver spoon I do still hold.
Her keen advice was usable.
Her heart was made of priceless gold.
I saw my friend as beautiful.

I later learned that all the while
she had been living in her car.
I didn't know, but that's her style.
Her reputation wasn't marred.
