Writer's Cramp Entry Due 5/6/18 |
| This is an entry for "The Writer's Cramp" The prompt is to use the title "Concerning UFO's" Concerning UFOs That day in the pasture seemed slow Just as days have a tendency to go We grazed and we looked to the sky When something caught the collective herd's eye "Moo!" came the cry, then "lookie! lookie!" It appeared like a great giant cookie! What could they want with our ilk? A never ending supply, yummy milk? We wondered what should we do? We decided to play it cool and chew When in doubt, do what we do best Ruminate, moo, graze, take a rest We won't let them change our routine A plan formed that day on the scene No matter what promises they give We still have our bovine lives to live So, UFOs are welcome to stay And graze in our pasture any day As long as they respect our space And act sort of nice to our face We won't kick our hooves and snort Or think up some "get lost" retorts Our outer space friends can remain If they act up, we'll banish them to Spain! |
