Sitting by the window,
A warm blanket on your shoulders,
A rainy day,
The cold.
Warm and cosy,
Safe.
Running footsteps,
The whistling wind,
Home.
The radio playing,
Your father smiles,
Your mother laughs,
The sun sets;
Happiness
Peace
Harmony
Nostalgia
Old
Infirm
In the twilight of your years,
Happy to have witnessed such a moment in your life.
