A poem about the color blue for Mumsy's Blue Celebration Lines: 18
Before I knew you,
I was always blue.
It’s true.

Before we met,
I would always fret.
Blue was as happy as I could get.

The blues used to be my choice of tune,
Until that blue-skied day in June.
Now, we sing and dance with the moon.

Looking in your sapphire eyes filled with love,
I know you are a gift from above.
With you, my spirit soars like a dove.

In happiness, I am dressed,
With you, I am no longer depressed.
As a team, we are the best.

Blue is no longer a color I hate,
But the color of shirt you wore on our first date.
From that day on, you were my soulmate.
