Delusion

Just something I wrote out of anger.

Love is your delusion,
You brought me back up
Only to drag me back down into seclusion

One sided friendship,
Given only for your satisfaction.
Played me for a fool,
Nothing more than a toxic attraction.

You knocked me down,
Straight down into the ground.
Broken promises causing me to drown,
Treating my heart like your personal fairground.

Now there's nothing left,
Just a hollowed out heart filled with resentment.
My affection taken by fates' twisted theft,
Left with a pain you find pleasent.
