A young woman looks for a home.
It was a street lined with bungalows. Tammy was unimpressed. What a boring looking street. She explained to the real estate agent that she’d rather find an apartment complex filled with singles, especially single men, preferably with a pool, and a gym. She fantasized how much fun a place like that would be. A now, Amanda had brought her to this Mayberry-esque street of neatly trimmed lawns, flower gardens and hedges that positively screamed of middle-aged mediocrity. Ugh!

She was about to voice her displeasure when she noticed Amanda waving at the man mowing the yard on their left. He was gorgeous! Tall, broad-shouldered, muscular, and ringless. He killed the mower, walking over to the car as Amanda lowered the window.

Leaning down he said: “Hey Amanda. Out showing houses?”

“Matthew, how good to see you,” Amanda purred.

“Yes, this is my client. She’s looking for a neighborhood with some social appeal. I thought we would look around here a bit.”

“Well hello, client. I’m Matthew.”

“I’m Tammy. Pleased to meet you, Matthew.”.

And he was gone, back to his mower, striding along in those mesmerizing gym shorts.

“I was hoping you might see something you like in this neighborhood,” Amanda said,

Smiling at the obvious double entendre, Tammy said, “Perhaps I may at that.”

As the afternoon progressed, Tammy met one exciting single after another. Some men, some women, all young, all successful, all hoping Tammy would move to their neighborhood.

Later, after work Amanda returned to her home...the exact bungalow where Matthew had been mowing.

“Do you think she will come back?” Matthew asked.

“Yes! She’s enamored with her fantasies. She will be back.”

“Excellent!” said Matthew. "We need more females on the human farm back on Xangorg. The others have been wearing out."
