When you felt you weren't good enough.
I saw you.
Didn't I?
You were angry because you let me go?
I was too scared to show up.
So many years
So far away from
You
Always in me somewhere
My what if
My better me
What I could be
If I would have just opened the door
Walked up to you
If I would have been there...
I wouldn't be here
So, lets meet in the possible future
Of unreasonable light and love
I'll spell out what we are to me in squares of my favorite chocolate.
We'll eat them in bright silence.
And time relaxes
After you say "Me too"
