A smile to remember

A poem about love at first sight

Hers is a fair one , unique it holds my world between its ridges,
It quenches the attention of each mortal soul in sight,

Only to start a fire,beneath my beating heart,
Ignorant to it’s own delight in effortlessness,

A rainbow upside down,to greet the heavens,
She glides throughout the room possessing all that meets her charms,

Lighting up the lives of many ,with a subtle glance to vague existence,

Unforgivable ,yet unforgettable smile ,
You have no place here,taunting at the roots beneath the surface ,

Be gone ,this image from my mind,
And all the darkness rendering me blind ,

It stole my heart ,forever.
