Who wants Chocolate ice cream snowman on a summer day?
Word count : 246

Leo was finally asleep after throwing a tantrum to have his favorite Chocolate ice cream for lunch. Leo's mom looked adoringly at the calm face of her two year old tornado. " If only he was calm and quiet when awake " she mused half dreaming.
"Do you want to build a snowman..." Little Anna chimed on the loop of Leo's lullaby. Leo's Zombie, err mommy, got up and reduced the volume of the player. and headed to kitchen on autopilot. Her dark Knight was calling her. She called him coffee. The way to kitchen was paved with tiny Legos, invisible sticky slimy glue, solo sock puppets, crayons , markers and ripped off papers. Leo's mom had mastered a knack to glide past the obstacles without stepping on it nor picking it up. No, not before she had had her elixir of life. This house definitely ran on love. Her love for coffee. As she stood in the kitchen, the heat of the scorching summer sun hit her hard. Her system needed to wake up, but hot coffee on a summer afternoon? Who wants that?

She heard the faint murmur of the song playing in Leo's bedroom. " Do you want to build a snowman." "Yes I do!" Her eyes brightened. She took out chocolate ice cream from the freezer helped herself to 1 2 3 scoops, as she dug in eagerly ,
" mom?!"
The proverb" Many a sip between the cup and the lip" should be written by a mother.
