A short poem

I kept watching the little boy and girl
Yelling and screaming
And pushing and pulling
Throwing and grabbing
And laughing and crying
And waiting for each other
And sharing while eating.
I suddenly realized that
I have never been able to give
Those precious moments
To my kids as I was busy
With my schedules.
