You are my home tried and true, an anchor in all that I do.
The tides return as they always do
to a ship riding an azure hue.
Though I like to run it's true,
I always come back to you.
You are my home tried and true.

Like a ship upon seas new,
Under skies where no clouds brew,
with the first mate and crew,
ready to bid a hearty 'adieu,'
I always come back to you.

Though I like to run it's true,
Like the ocean’s tides do,
upon the waves I am threw.
My safety, never misconstrue.
I always come back to you.

I always come back to you.
My seas are deep too,
and I oft drink of its stew.
Though fishing is just what I do,
I always come back to you.

You are my home tried and true;
An anchor in all that I do.
I am tethered fast to you
Storm, or skies of brilliant blue.
