A short poem
When are you leaving?
Asked my neighbors
And I replied indifferently:
Tomorrow.
It is long since I have been
Expecting a transfer
From the place.
Segregation by many
Becomes nightmarish
Along with the nightmares.
Watching out of the window
Into the meek grim outside
Sends a shiver.
Then I suddenly realized
That I have a window
To watch when
Many do not have that.
