The woodlands come alive under the stars
When it is dark enough, you can see stars
As fairies dance among the fallen leaves
Down by the ancient river’s bed
Gentle flowing water bubbles and gurgles by
Past the place where otters sleep
As frogs and crickets strike up the nighttime band

Through brush and bush , past tree and fern
Foxes roam through ancient wood
The fairies dance between the trees
As the owl and mockingbird join in the nightly song
The wind to listening ears whispers,
When it is dark enough, you can see stars
