Flames

A short poem

I watched everything burn
Burn in the flames of my love
Only then did I learn
That life is rough

I was hypnotized
I thought you were my best
It was late when I realized
You were just like the rest

The climb toke long
And I am still not back
But at least I am not laying on the floor
In a place that's pitch black

But one day I'll be back
Stronger than ever before
And no one will break me again
Cause I'll have a will to live for
