a poem about the beauty of being a women today.
As a female I've felt many things...worthless, wanted, ugly, beautiful, used, and confused. I will admit, I have doubted my true strength as a women and wished to be a man- but what I once didn't understand was, women are incredible! We are able to do anything and everything. We take things and make them more. We take sperm, and a create a baby. We take food, and make a meal. We take a house and make it a home. We even take our own breast and make a food source. Every month we bleed, but it only makes us stronger. We are victimized and viewed as objects many times a day, but it's never taken anything away from us!
I hate when men get offended by us voicing our rights and celebrating our lives because we have plenty to voice and celebrate! Us being proud of what we're capable takes nothing away from men at all. But I will admit. I am not surprised by the intimidation because if I were I a man, I would be intimidated by a hard working women too.
