Something I wrote for someone I know, she had the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen!

I could feel the sunrise, when I see your smile,
Holding my breath, as we talk to each other.
Laughing as we talk, sharing every story we could,
Lost in our world, oblivious to all around.
I could spend the whole day, listening to your every word,
I could spend the whole day, with you as we move on.

I remember the first day, staring into your eyes,
I remember how I felt, my heart beating fast.
For a time, I kept my distance,
Then you came to me that day, wanting to talk.
Holding my hands, you never let go,
And I remember that day, like it was yesterday.
