The struggle and impact the name I was given, my name has caused to me, myself.
I never wanted to
Have the name I hold now and so
I cry in silence to please
The inner pride and see
If my name would be
Any other name but
“Husna”
It contracted every time I am called
out, My heart would brutally test feelings of the name I hold.
It was intense on mind,
I could feel it inside
my soul, I didn’t like at all
I wanted any other name
But the name I hold
“Husna”
Jessie, Hailey, Jen
Merriam, Ashley or Brooklyn
I have written it in bold
Any other name but the name I hold.
“Husna”
