Healing a broken relationship with God in spite of sorrow and struggles
Footprints of Love

Beyond the sunset
long into the night
I feel my faith waning
and begin to lose sight.

Where are You Lord
in this war for my heart?
I fear I can’t feel You
and You will depart.

I feel like a broken vessel
that You can never heal.
And now the enemy comes
to destroy and to steal.

Lord, what can I do
but rely solely on You?
By Your love and grace alone
You will carry me through.

How can I stand
when I’m falling apart?
How can I love
with a broken heart?

“My beautiful child,
Please trust in Me.
In my arms you’ll rest
in peace and safety.

When you see the scars
and tears from when you fell,
I see the beautiful stories
of grace that they will tell.

When you feel scared and lost
and you don’t know what to do,
just call out to Jesus
and He will come to your rescue.

I use the humble broken things
to let My light shine through.
Just put your faith in Me
and see what I will do.

I will heal your broken heart
and stop the enemy.
I will never leave you
and My compassion for you you’ll see.

Take a walk and talk with Me.
Let us fellowship right here.
I want nothing more than to share My love
and dissolve all of your fear.

I am here for you
now and forever more.
My love for you so deep and wide-
a love that keeps no score.

When you’re falling apart,
just fall into My arms of grace
and every single tear you weep,
I will gently wipe from your face.

Nothing can separate you
from My precious love.
The wonderful stories that will be told
about you will rise to the heavens above.
