I was blank inside and filled with emptiness, could not even see the laughter.
I used everything I had
And called her name when it was all over.
The vase on the coffee table
reminded me of when she sang
rhymes and hymns that made me sing along
I forgot what those sounds do
when I forget and need water
the flowers in the vase remind me
to not waste
so tune and green
not fortune or fame can take the name
