A Terza Rima Poem |
Damp scent and shrill cry of birds through the sweet grey Cool breeze hints of something more than just misty Darkness gives waning only seconds away Eerie, dreary clouds begin to spray drizzly People dash as umbrellas start opening Sudden clear sheets of rain downpour so quickly Bright lightning flashes with thunderous drumming Violent storm exists, leaving spats that sprinkle Hazy glow appears, as sun peeks from hiding Droplets alone now, plop into a puddle Rainbows drape the sky, ending what was dismal Written for "Invalid Item" Poem Prompt: Terza Rima 11syllable lines |
