Lonely, I once was
My head a home for the buzzing static of remorse
My eyes a gray haze of vacancy
My heart a beating echo of numbness
My body a bed for the abandoned

Healing, I now am
My head a home for the blossoming seed of hope
My eyes a bright current of wonder
My heart a beating remembrance of purpose
My body a temple only visited by those invited

I was lonely
I was numb

I am now healing
I am now blossoming
