|Captive by her stepmother, she was a servant
In her own father's home. Mean step-siblings who
Needed her assistance. She was always busy and
Deserved a good break.
Eventually a ball came up, she was not to attend before chores.
Right away she finished, although she had naught to wear, a fairy godmother solved it quick.
Ella arrived in style and charmed the prince's heart
Late at night she fled and left a little shoe. Every
Last house was searched before he found his girl. They married
And lived Happily Ever After.
