The power of passion can heal the mind

'round her head twirls a fiery halo
a mess, akimbo, swept up by the tornado
of her wild 'n rampant, harmful thoughts
unnerving, nagging in a constant echo

in her mind she hears naught but taunts
inky smears of hate 'round her vision blots
the world outside her photographer's lens
is not the safe one in her camera shots

but through those struggles she depends
on her most loyal and loving friends -
the calming click and camera stutter, oh
how a photo can her harmful thoughts cleanse
