Colorful Poem. Chapter 3.
Oh dear God! I can’t believe my eyes!
What an astonishing surprise!
From far away,
Here, in the light of day
As usual flawless, young and spicy,
As usual unexpected, fresh,
Without invitation, but still accepted nicely…
Exceptional… It’s Coral in the flesh!!!
And now it’s time for an introduction:
This lady – a master of seduction,
And as a cousin she is known
Of Pink and Rose – yet they apart have grown.
And any visit of this distant cousin
Gives every reason for them to be bothered!
Like a jack-in-the-box she is coming out,
Dragging away the admiring crowd;
She’s like an exotic rare bird
Of which most of us have only heard…
This troublesome and irritating Coral
However always brings the peace:
While here, Rose and Pink will have no quarrels,
The fire of reproaches seems to cease.
While she is here, they’re good friends:
So pleased to make friends against her, sure!
And to invent together artful plans
To win attention back and feel newly secure!
So, every cloud has a silver lining, as you see.
They’re not that bad, these cousins, let them be!!
