Cinderella kind of story with a fashion twist...
Some Thoughts on the Usefulness and Practicality of Gabardine.

She was not a Princess and she was not a Queen…
She fell in love with gabardine.
She bought herself a cherished piece:
“I’ll sew a dress and I’ll seduce the Prince!!!”
Said – done! And in her crafty knowing hands
The cloth was made into an outfit to beat the greatest brands!
This magic fabric all her talents once released
And gave the Inspiration and creative thirst appeased.
All talked about the outstanding dress
And the supergifted girl that it possessed…
Her glory spread throughout the land;
Once raised, the buzz would never end!
And finally the rumors reached the Prince,
He banged the table, bawled: “I want to be convinced!!!
All my ex-girlfriends were all thumbs
And I would like to have a glance
At this unknown and enigmatic girl
Who knows, maybe I’ll find a rare pearl?”
So… she was invited to the ball,
And soon she shone in the resplendent royal dancing hall,
Self-confident without alcohol!
No doubts, it was gabardine
That helped her the Prince’s heart to win
He wordless fell down on his knees
Only his eyes in tears prayed: “Please!
Don’t leave this place and take away all beauty!
And be my wife forever, Cutie!”
And this is how a humble girl became a queen
With help of stunning gabardine.

The End…
