A Country and Western ballad
The sight of her brought a tear to my eye
That I quickly wiped away
I don’t want her to pity me
It’s better off this way

For we were once a couple
We were together for so long
Now that’s just a memory
A sad Country and Western song

I’ve tried to put her in the past
And get on with my life
But still I can’t help fantasize
She could have been my wife

But I was just too stubborn
I loved that pick-up truck
She said it was that truck or her
I wished her lots of luck

Man, I really do love that truck
