Nightmares of a child - image write.
Warm bed, with a thirst for water
Red wool covered, it gets hotter
The night is dark, you’re all alone
Scratching your skin, feelings unknown

Maroon claws grab, you close your eyes
From the dark they come, silent cries
Fear the unknown of all her might
Clawing away the sunshine night

Those darting eyes look straightway in
Under that wool (up to your chin)
Again you start to hold your breath
Adventures set, you think it’s death

She pulls you under, to be curled
Unseen faces, this underworld
Now one last time you’re so unkind
Leave her in sadness far behind

“Morning my child awaken now
It’s new and fresh, by you is how.”
