a little commentary on our current political situation in Alternating Quatrains
When pompous pundits reign
over evening news,
projecting ghastly stain
upon the public's views,

we are fed a diet
of deceit and disdain,
instigating riot
in manner quite insane.

Their rabid rhetoric
spews every campaign
for matters politic
down noxious sewer drain.
