Sights and sounds of Christmas time
Christmas time is all around us
Children's hearts are filled with glee
As we look about this happy town
We see a moving people sea

Red candy-striped decorations are hung
Flashing lights move with a joyous melody
Christmas tunes play out for all to hear
Poinsettias sitting in the old town square

Children squeal in anticipation
They look each day to find the new
For soon they know the day approaches
That they could wake to Christmas snow

Packages wrapped with love and tied with festive bows
Each holding contents to surprise
Each child has wished and made their lists of wants
Their dreams are bigger every night

The joy shared seems contagious now
The spirit of good-will is found everywhere
The art of giving walking hand in hand
With words of love freely shared

May Christmas birth something new in you
A joy more real be found within
They say this feeling comes but once a year
This year let His spirit live in you
