An ode to my loving and lovable wife.
For Debbie

It doesn't matter where I go,
however far I roam.
There's one true thing I've come to know,
I always have a home.

Good neighbors go and jobs unwind,
a friend can let me down.
But in your arms I always find
a harbor safe and sound.

No matter what my final fate,
I know I'm not alone.
That any place your arms await
is where I'll find my home.

Terrence G. Fisher 2004

I wrote this for my wife and gave it to her on our 26th anniversary. It still rings true today. She's been my best friend and soul mate for more than forty years.
