Inspired by a book "Cupboard Boy" A truly disturbing story of child abuse: By P T Saunders
Roses are Red

Roses are red, violets are blue.
I was the child whose dad abandoned at the age at the age of two.

Roses are red, violets are blue.
I am the child that was abused because of you.

Roses are red, violets are blue.
In a violent house was where I grew.

Roses are Red, violets are blue.
The abuse was so terrible, yet nobody knew.

Roses are red, violets are blue.
My siblings were beaten, and there was nowt I could do.

Roses are red, violets are blue.
I Joined the army, just to escape from you.

Roses are red, Violets are blue.
When It came to fighting, I didn't have a clue.

Roses are red Violets are blue.
I was made to watch men dying, just because of you.

Roses are red, violets are blue.
One thing for sure, I'll never forgive you!

Roses are red, violets are blue
I wished you dead and out of my head.

Roses are red, violets are blue.
I wish you were someone I never knew!
