The attitude of women towards men.
I am so impressed with the all the coaches I have worked with in my various Facebook mentoring groups, especially the women. All of my female group leaders have been such a help and should be hailed as great examples of what business women should be.

I have heard so many stories about women sharing tales of sexual misconduct or harassment in their work place, and, while I am certain most of these stories are true, I have to wonder how many of these women are simply trying to draw attention to themselves. I hear so much in the media about how men make it hard for women to get ahead in business. I think it is a matter of taking control of our own lives and working for the advancement that we are capable and deserving of. It is time to stop blaming men.

On social media business sites I don’t get this type of attitude from the women I have been privileged to work with. Women who have online businesses, such as business coaching, focus on their strengths and what their talents are. I have listened to the stories about their struggles, but very rarely have I heard the “man bashing” that I have listened to on television or radio. Women who work online tend to own their mistakes more and not try to blame men for everything. I think this is how it should be.

I have had my struggles and made my mistakes. I own these. I have never tried to blame anyone else, including the men in my life. I am my own person, my problems are mine and have to be worked out by me.

I have found that many female coaches have more female group members in their Facebook groups. I think this might be because women tend to feel more comfortable working with other women. Their struggles and challenges are very similar.

Women are strong and capable in their own right. No man can take this away from us unless we allow it.
