Words to use: Their first name or mom etc.
Forbidden words: the, of, for, to, you, me, my, we, with, from .... only kidding....use whatever words express your heart.
Additional parameters: rhyming or not, Min 24 lines of love.

To my Daughter, Cara

What a year you've had,
how much you've grown.
I've watched as you've realized
that growing up is an ongoing process.
And yet, you've retained
the joy, the light, the curiosity
of the child you still keep inside.
Settling into new roles,
you have become:
you have evolved into wife
without losing girlfriendly aspects of yourself.
You've become a verb
in far many way than you think.

I'm so very proud of the woman
you are, the woman
you strive to be.
Even when we don't agree
I am so proud
of your thinking processes.
And can say, 'Fine. Be that way!'
and know it is right for you,
for the 'who' you are.

I love you, my funny, silly,
serious, determined, creative,
awesome kid. Who's not a kid
anymore, but will still always be.
To me.
