A letter to myself on how to improve
Another New Year has arrived, Dear One. Let’s take a look at what you have achieved last year, what you wanted to achieve but didn’t and what you need to do to fulfill your dreams and goals for 2019.
First, let’s look at why you were not able to get that Second Edition book done. You did not set a date and time to work on the book and you didn’t create a plan on how much work you would do on the work on potential dates to work on the book.
So, to correct this you need to create a date and time and write down exactly what you want to do with the book and what you want to accomplish during, let’s say, an hour’s worth of work.
Let’s create a schedule for your Second Edition:
• Every Tuesday and Thursday take time for your book
• Schedule in 9 in the morning until 11.
• Put away all projects and only focus on the book.
In the past, you have not been specific enough on the day and time and that is part of the reason why you have not been successful with this project.
The question is, “How important is it to you to finish this project? Will it add value to your life and will it, perhaps, add value to those who read it?”
To finish any goal in life, you must be consistent with your work and you must have a desire to complete the goal. And, remember to put some fun into your work! After all, writing can be a great way to express happiness and joy!
So, this is the beginning of a New Year—2019. One other very important question you must answer is, “Will you make 2019 different from the past two years and finish this project?”
The choice, Dear One, is up to you! :)
