Winner of the 24 Syllable Poem Contest for 01/18/19 in Emmett form.

The shaking of jail gates,
Shaking to cogitate flight,
Of feint sleight,
Jail of my hates,
Gates into light.

cogitate=contemplate

Emmett: The first line contains five words, and each word of that line becomes the first word of the following lines in sequence. In addition, there is a rhyme scheme of a,b,b,a,b.
