A teenage girl is bullied, and wonders why she exists. Her mother tells her.
What is the point?
Am I even worth anything?
What is wrong with me?
Why can't I just fit in?

She cried with exasperation.
Am I just not good enough?
Her mother heard her angry tears.
She wanted her daughter to be happy.
Oh, my dear,
The wise woman explained
The point is to find your place in the world
You are worth more than all the diamonds in the world
You will fit in, just with the right people.

The girl realized that what her mother said was true,
And wiped away her tears.
But most importantly,
Her mother whispered
You are loved.
