This is a rewrite of a story called my Purgatory that I wrote two years ago.
If you look at the United States map, not too far from Colorado, there's a small city right along the edge of the state. Destine County, a small city with barely any history to make it known. With a population of about less than 700 people, its no wonder this city isn't talked about a lot. I, unfortunately, am part of this community. What makes matters worse is that I get mistaken for a girl. But, I guess that's my own fault. I'm pretty skinny for my age, and my honey-colored hair goes down to my shoulder-blades. In addition, my face is very slender to fit my face, and my eyes are bigger while my nose is smaller. I've been told that it looks like a candy heart when I look up. My eyes are a greyish blue. It feels weird to say since I would rather have grey eyes than blue.
