Ghouls need love too
A vampire looking for a neck to bite
as the sky slowly grows dim
is a creature of the night
it just comes naturally to him

A zombie searching for brains
desperate for its gutsy goal
is even out in the pouring rain
hunger is taking its toll

Frankenstein, arms outstretched
tired of wandering, no longer can he wait
he's wanting a place to rest
an old castle would be great

A creepy spirit floats about
inside a very dark house
a noise makes an occupant shout
and no, it's not a mouse

But it's just a curious ghost
just doing what it likes
it's best to be a friendly host
until it takes a hike

So if you see or hear
something scary on Valentine's Day
don't have too much fear
just let it do what it may

For monsters need love too
and they love doing what they do most
they don't mean to scare you
it's just Valentines ghouls and ghosts.
