Tim builds a time machine.
One Thursday afternoon Tim invented a time machine.

It was easy. He couldn’t think why no one had done it before.

An old bike frame, bits from a defunct computer, a digital watch and some chicken wire fashioned into a coil providing the necessary Chronofinbulastatic Vortex, and it was done.

Tim carefully checked the current date and time then switched it on.

The light dimmed; a sound like air escaping from a tyre; a barely perceptible jolt and it was over.

Tim checked the digital watch.

‘Well that’s disappointing,’ he thought.

He’d gone exactly one minute into the past.
