The Vast Truth - A Socialist Society

Believing - the prelude to falsehood - a poem.

A condition of equal respect
Has engulfed America
With its tried and true heart. 

And the opposition
Seems rather ornery,
Rolling in infamy,
Appearing so defined. 

The era seems to offer
Some sage advice -
To confiscate the wealth
Of millionaires and billionaires,
And regain the promise
Of the middle
And working classes,
To strengthen those leftist causes
And demote the insanely wealthy
Into a more just and caring path.

But deterring this
Are the restrictions -
Choosing a mechanism
And means to nurture
Those vague, prescriptive notions
Of how societies
And capitalism truly work.
