Reason shines through the frozen trees as a spirit dressed in crystals of frost
We writhe and strain against the shadows of ignorance
that grip like the fingers of a great power,
beckoning through the tangle of bramble
and repeat the same, until,
in a magnificent upheaval,
the old laws are questioned with a word –
Reason shines through the frozen trees
as a spirit dressed in crystals of frost,
her logic sparkling like a thousand Christmas lights
in the golden hour.
To trust in Earth’s purity is to see beyond the shadows,
to revel in her wonder,
to be guided by her majesty,
to break through the illogic,
and be borne into an enlightened future.
